Individual therapy offers a private and confidential space for you to engage in reflection, explore behavioral patterns, process emotions, and discover solutions to experiences you may be having now or have experienced in the past.
Therapy is unique to each individual. Together, we will identify the concerns that are impacting your life and work collaboratively to address them during our sessions.
Why Do People Seek Therapy?
People seek therapy for many different reasons. Most often, people come to therapy because something is impacting their life, whether that is at work, in relationships, in social situations, school, or within their relationship with themselves. Sometimes, you may simply want to better understand yourself and why you respond to situations the way you do.
You may be experiencing:
Anxiety or mood concerns
Difficulty with focus, organization, time management, or other challenges associated with ADHD
Grief and loss
Life transitions, such as starting a new relationship, beginning a new job, or starting college
Stress, overwhelm, or burnout
Relationship concerns
Questions about identity or sense of self
Changes related to weight loss, body image, bariatric surgery, or GLP-1 medications
Unsure where to go in life or difficulties trusting your choices
You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes, you simply know that something isn't working and want support figuring out what comes next.
Areas of Focus
My areas of focus include:
ADHD and executive functioning challenges
Relationship issues
Stress and burnout
Grief and loss
Life transitions and adjustment
College student concerns
Emotional and behavioral changes related to GLP-1 medications
I have a passion for working with individuals who are navigating the behaviors and emotions related to weight loss, particularly those using GLP-1 medications or who have had or are considering bariatric surgery. As a bariatric patient myself, I believe this community deserves support from someone who understands these experiences firsthand. While I am passionate about working with this population, it is not the only area I focus on in therapy. If you are experiencing something that isn't listed here, feel free to reach out. We can talk about what you are looking for and whether I may be a good fit for your needs.
Payment
Sessions can be paid for through insurance or self-pay. I currently accept Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Cigna.

Good Faith Estimate
If you are uninsured or choose not to use your insurance for services, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your care.
A Good Faith Estimate provides an estimate of the expected charges for scheduled services. You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or when scheduling services.

Getting Started
Not sure if therapy is right for you? That's okay.
Reach out through my contact form and let's have a conversation. A brief consultation gives us an opportunity to talk about what you're looking for, answer any questions you may have, and determine whether working together feels like a good fit.
A consultation does not commit you to starting therapy.
